Graeme Clarke recalled by the New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils announced on Wednesday that they have recalled forward Graeme Clarke from the Utica Comets of the AHL. The move appears to be in response to an injury to Devils forward Timo Meier.

The twenty-two-year-old Clarke was a third round pick by New Jersey in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to joining the Devils organization, he played three seasons for the Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League.

Clarke is in his fourth American Hockey League season – all for the Utica Comets/Binghamton Devils. In twenty-seven games played for the Comets this season, Clarke has eleven goals and ten assists to go with eight PIM and eighty-two shots. He leads the Comets in goals, power play goals (four), and shots.

Clarke could play in first NHL game on Wednesday night at the Washington Capitals.

The Utica Comets play again on Friday night at home against the Laval Rocket. For more information about the Comets, including schedules and ticketing, visit Https://uticacomets.com.
