The Colgate Raiders Mens Hockey 2023-24 schedule features and full ECAC slate as well as some teams they haven’t seen in a while.

October 7th, 2023 is a date Colgate Raiders fans have circled on their calendars as that is the day the Raiders begin their 2023-24 season.

Last season, Colgate had an overall record of 19-16-5, with an ECAC mark of 11-8-3. They were 9-5-4 at home, 8-10-1 on the road, and 2-1-0 at neutral site games.

Colgate was ranked eighteenth in the final USCHO poll of 2022-23 and won the first ECAC Tournament championship in the storied thirty-season career of Head Coach Don Vaughan. They qualified for the NCAA Tournament but were eliminated in the first round by Michigan.

The Raiders will play thirty-four regular season games this season. Included in this season’s slate is a full twenty-two-game ECAC schedule along with twelve games against six non-conference opponents. There are no exhibition games and the only tournament scheduled is the ECAC Postseason Tournament.

A new era of Colgate Raiders Mens Hockey begins in 2023-24, as Vaughan has retired and Mike Harder has taken the reins of the team. Harder played for Colgate from 1993 to 1997, and is the program’s all-time leading scorer. He was an assistant coach under Vaughan from 1993 to 1997.

Here’s a look at the schedule Harder and his team will navigate in the 2023-24 season. Colgate will play all of its home games at the Class of 1965 Arena in Hamilton, NY.
