Topias Vilen assigned to the Adirondack Thunder

Defenseman Topias Vilen was assigned to the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL from the Utica Comets on Friday.

According to the transactions page on https://theahl.com, the New Jersey Devils have assigned defenseman Topias Vilen to the Adirondack Thunder from the Utica Comets. The move was announced on Friday.

Vilen has played all of the 2023-24 season with the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League but has missed time recently due to injury. In six games played this season, the twenty-year-old has no goals, four assists, four PIM, five shots, and is a +2. He last played on November 3rd at Rochester.

He was drafted by the Devils in the fifth round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, 129th overall. He is a native of Lahti, Finland.
