Utica Comets assign pair to Adirondack

The Utica Comets announced on Thursday they have reassigned defenseman Colin Felix and forward Timur Ibragimov to the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL.

Felix was signed by the Comets in the offseason after playing last season for the Reading Royals of the ECHL. In 11 games played for the Comets this season, he registered no points, had 13 PIM, and was a -2. He also played 34 games for Adirondack, where he 4 goals, 10 assists, 57 PIM, and is a +16.

The Utica Comets are getting the band back together

Ibragimov was acquired by the New Jersey Devils last season in a trade with the San Jose Sharks, who drafted him in the sixth round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He has played 28 games for Utica this season and has six goals, six assists, no PIM, and is a +1. Ibragimov has also had four goals, six assists, no PIM, and is a +2 in seven games played for the Thunder this season.
