Utica Comets recall a pair of players from Adirondack

The Utica Comets have recalled forwards Erik Middendorf and Jace Isley from Adirondack of the ECHL the team announced on Thursday. Both players are on AHL contracts with Utica.

The twenty-three-year-old Middendorf has played most of the 2023-24 season with the Adirondack Thunder. In fifteen games for the Thunder this season, the six foot one inch, 190 pounds winger has seven goals and four assists with no PIM. He has played one game for the Comets this season as well. On November 10th against Rochester, he registered one shot and no points.

Isley signed with Utica this offseason after playing five seasons for the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League. The twenty-one-year-old center has two goals, five assists, and twelve PIM in seventeen games played for the Thunder this season. This marks his first career call-up to the American Hockey League. Isley stands six feet, two inches, and weighs 200 pounds.
